If you have always wondered what Apple Computer’s slogan, “Think different” means, read this book。 You’ll learn about visual thinkers (object & spacial)。 Steve Jobs in mentioned a few times as are other folks who created amazing things。 This is a helpful book for parents who have kids who are visual thinkers。 Does your kid like to build Lego kits or create their own Lego object? Do they like math, puzzles, and/or chess? Do they take things apart and put them back together? I received an ARC from goodreads in exchange for an honest review。 I was motivated to read this book for two reasons 1。 I enjoy Oliver Sacks work and Ms。 Grandin was one of his subjects and 2。 without giving names I'm pretty sure a close individual in my life is a visual thinker even though they haven't explicitly expressed this to me yet。I found value in learning about visual thinking from the perspective of a person living the experience rather than a scientist studying it clinically。 Ms。 Gran I received an ARC from goodreads in exchange for an honest review。 I was motivated to read this book for two reasons 1。 I enjoy Oliver Sacks work and Ms。 Grandin was one of his subjects and 2。 without giving names I'm pretty sure a close individual in my life is a visual thinker even though they haven't explicitly expressed this to me yet。I found value in learning about visual thinking from the perspective of a person living the experience rather than a scientist studying it clinically。 Ms。 Grandin offered insight for how we (verbal thinkers) can adjust our world to take advantage of this unique perspective in a variety of situations (as parents, managers, etc。)。 。。。more
